Abstract: Arkla Energy Resources developed and currently uses a mobile gas turbine meter proving system on 3 thru 8 gas turbine meters at station sites under actual operating conditions. It combines technology from liguid turbine meter provers with new ideas that specifically apply to gas measurement. The prover also contains a gas chromatograph which is used in actual mass flow computations.
