Abstract: A Densitometer is a device that converts the weight property of a material to (1) a mechanical movement (2) or an electrical signal that can be used to document and/or control that material. The factor of weight, in mass measurement, is entered by the Densitometer. The intent of this paper is not to identify the necessity nor the accuracy of Densitometers but to give a field approach to the installation and operation of Densitometers.
