Abstract: The paper presents a detailed description of the calibration equipment and procedure of the new Austrian reference laboratory for air speed in the range from 0.04 m/s to 40 m/s. Calibrations of pitot tubes, rotating wheel, vane, ultrasonic, and thermal anemometers are made as comparison measurements with a Laser Doppler Anemometer (LDA) in a homogenous reproducible wind tunnel flow
