Abstract: Measurement is a time-critical function in which an Electronic Gas Measurement (EGM) Editor is necessary in order to conduct good business and practice sound measurement. The Natural Gas and Liquids industry of today is technology-driven with an adherence to industry standards and government regulation as a premise for the structure and foundation of the EGM Editor application. Contractual requirements based on industry standards provide further incentive and direction for a platform that can meet the needs of its customers through a multi-faceted approach that incorporates necessary attributes for effective and thorough data validation, compliance, and reporting.
