Abstract: Both orifice and turbine meters have similar systematic uncertainty characteristics, however, their random uncertainty characteristics differ. This paper compares the uncertainty calculations for single and multiple run orifice and turbine meter facilities. The design considerations that affect measurement uncertainty are also discussed.
