Abstract: Judging by the variety of systems for blending propane and air for peak shaving the number of different systems must exceed the number of engineers who design such systems. At any rate the number of different systems is greater than would be expected considering that all are supposed to accomplish the same end result. in spite of these differences all seem to perform their intended function but not with equal effort or attention on the part of the operator, Some arc easily put on stream and operate wiih a minimum of attention while others are difficult to place into operation and require almost constant attention. It is our purpose to examine some of the combinations of controls that have been used and to point out the factors that make certain combinalions more suited to a particular process than others.
