Abstract: This paper provides a new perspective on measurement in light of changing business environment, competition, and technology. The objective of the paper is to make us all think differently and to remove pitfalls of tunnel vision, thereby allowing us to act smartly and efficiently. This paper is intended to challenge everybody involved in the process. Everything we do must have business relevance. This is true not only for measurement process, but for every process we are involved in. One must constantly question our action and not fall in the trap of thats the way we have always done it.
