Abstract: Various computer systems are used by the gas industry to calculate gas flow volumes and to prepare gas volume statements and related measurement reports. These systems are being improved to handle more of the measurement tasks and to provide timely gas volume data to measurement and other personnel. The communication networks are being improved as more powerful computers are installed.
