Abstract: Design for corrosion control prior to actual construction is always the most efficient and economical approach to control corrosion. During the design stage, new products such as coatings and fittings can be evaluated with a definite known use in mind. Testing of new products under conditions similar to their actual use will at times save considerable expenditures of lime and money in the future.
