Title: Pressure Regulation And Flow Control With Expansible Tube Type Valves

Abstract: In the natural gas and pipeline industries, expansible tube regulators are used to control flow or pressure. Control is achieved by reducing a high inlet pressure (Pi) to a lower selected outlet pressure (P2). Ideally, the pressure is maintained over a range of inlet pressure and flow conditions. Due to state-of-the-art techniques now being used to manufacture regulators and elastomers the variety of applications have been widened.
