Abstract: The intent of this class is to give un-biased guidance to the design, operation and maintenance of Lease Automatic Custody Transfer units. A L.A.C.T. is an arrangement of equipment designed for the unattended custody transfer of liquid hydrocarbons from producing leases to the transporting carrier. An A.C.T. would be a truck or meter station where the transfer of liquid hydrocarbons takes place away from the producing lease itself. For the purpose of this class both will be referred to as L.A.C.T. units.
