Abstract: This paper will highlight best practices in inspector and inspection of contractor construction. Consumers Energy was one of the Best Practices companies in A.G.A. BEST PRACTICES BENCHMARKING-INSPECTION OF CONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTION-1998. Based on the experiences of 12 benchmark utilities, more than 50% savings can be realized in the implementation of these best practices.
