Abstract: New storm water regulations for construction sites that disturb one acre or more are effective as of March 10, 2003. An overview of these regulations is provided, followed by a discussion of the conditions that will impact the gas transmission and distribution industry. Best Management Practices are presented followed by specific recommendations for developing an overall program to comply with these new federal regulations.
