Abstract: Electronics technology has been used to calculate gas flow volumes for over twenty (20) years. With the commercialization of the microprocessor in the oil and gas industry ten (10) to twelve (12) years ago, it became possible to calculate many of the AGA factors out in the field. Some six (6) years ago, battery powered flow computer units (FCUs) were introduced.
