Abstract: In March of 1984, the Air Force determined that there was a need for a transportable calibration laboratory to support bases where existing labs were cut of service. The development of this capability from concept to hardware in 30 months involved the cooperation of many organizations, an innovative contractor. and a number of creative solutions to problems.
