Abstract: In attempts to achieve more a c c u r a te gas flow measurements, industry is placing more emphasis on defining and avoiding adverse unsteady flow cond i - tions. Interactions of pulsation e n e r gy and piping acoustics are being considered. Industry has put a great deal of effort into replacing relatively long gage line t u b i ng with close-coupled, straight bore manifolds. This paper touches on gage line effects on gas flow measurement.
