Abstract: ubsea business is growing rapidly around the world an d it is going deeper and deeper, with increasing tie back lengths. It is no longer possible to produce each well through a single pipeline or riser. Tie backs of fluids with different properties are commonly used to further reduce the cost of production up to the FPSO or host platform before processing. In the North Sea, for instance, some oil operators will be producing simultaneously gas condensate and h eavy oil to the same platform f r o m different reservoir layers in the same area
