Abstract: This brief paper is intended to share some examples of specific tampering to gas meters as discovered by meter shop personnel. It will also reinforce the need to look at meters with an eagles eye in order to become more aware of the possibilities that tampering does exist. Finally, it will attempt to instill some thought provoking ideas for developing a profile of customers who tamper with our cash box.
