Abstract: Early in the development of the gas business, artifical, as well as natural, a need was felt for measuring devices. Out of this we have the present-day positive displacement and orifice meters. Each type has its place in the industry. However, as this paper has to do with the Use of Pressure-Volume Gauge and Other Equipment for Adjusting Meter Registration to Gas Volumes of Definite Pressure Base, we must deal with the measurement of gas by the positive displacement meter, since it is only on this type of meter that such gauges are used.
