Abstract: The author grew up in a small town in central Iowa and is currently living in Houston, TX. He has lived and worked in the gas pipeline industry in central and western Iowa and southwest Kansas. A 1974 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, he has accumulated over 30 years work experience with Northern Natural Gas Company and Enron in operations and maintenance, engineering, and code compliance. Work experience has been in mainline transmission pipeline and compression, underground storage, and gas gathering.
