Abstract: This paper is a synopsis of TCCs data acquisition methodology, processing protocols and supervisory system means, reference values and integrity procedures, presented together with a detailed description of the stability requirement of pressure, temperature and flows at the laboratory during ultrasonic meter calibration to minimise Type A contributions. TCC calibration data, including repeatability and shortterm reproducibility values, taken from a meter calibration will be presented and used as baseline to illustrate the sensitivity of USM response to environmental and calibration variables. Monte Carlo simulation modeling will be used as replication tool. To provide a real-time illustration of TCCs operational capability, at the end of the presentation of this paper a calibrated meter will be verified live remotely by running the calibration laboratory from the conference room.
