Abstract: When sampling for on-line H2S analysis it is critical that the gas sample containing a representative concentration of H2S reach the analyzer in the shortest period of time possible. The response time of most analyzers is typically many times faster than the delivery time of the gas sample from the sample tap to the analyzer. This presentation addresses the issues involved in presenting a quality H2S sample to the analyzer in a timely manner.
