Abstract: Mass measurement techniques are used on compressible fluids with varying composition where the volume is affected by intermolecular adhesion and solution mixing. Light hydrocarbons have poorly defined properties of thermal expansion and compressibility and the fluid density changes a large amount with small changes in temperature and pressure. - Polymer - grade ethylene - Ethane - Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) - Ethane/propane (E/P) mixtures - Natural gas liquids (NGL) such as raw make streams - Y grade and condensates
