Abstract: The common practice in natural gas distribution systems is the use of two sets of different regulators in the case of law pressure distribution system, and two or three sets in the case of medium pressure systems for the purpose of reducing the large pressures on the transmission mains into the medium pressure or intermediate pressure and from thence to the low pressures used in the system to which the customers are connected.
