Author: Frank St. Amand

Year Published: 1968
Abstract: It might help all of us to consider this section of the program as an extension of the class on Fundamentals of Gas Pressure Regulators, because we will explore the application of thoss fundamentals to service regulators and to farm tap regulators. These regulators are hydrids and should be treated as such. Improving our understanding of the variations in the basic components will help us to knowledgeably predict regulator performance. During this class, we will examine the guidelines involved with the selection of farm tap and service regulator components bodies, orifices, discs, diaphragms, springs, vents, boosting and over pressure protection.
