Abstract: Pressure measurement is used throughout the hydrocarbon, chemical and transmission industries. The results of those measurements fill in such unknowns as the calibration of monitoring instruments the dollar volume of natural gas the production of a well the safety tolerance of a vessel or the flow rate past an orifice.
