Abstract: Electronic on-site flow computers have been in use in the gas transmission Industry for over twenty years. During this time they have developed from crude flow Indicators into precise energy measuring systems. Their use for custody transfer has, in general, been limited to special circumstances which make their use mutually desirable to buyer and seller. Their acceptance in the Industries varies from optimistic faith to tolerance to complete mistrust.
