Abstract: FAST EASY CHEAP Three qualities we all need. The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port (LOOP) measures over 500 million barrels of crude oil a year. This volume includes receipts and deliveries. These 500 million barrels are divided into approximately 1400 batches per year and LOOP analyzes each batch for water content using ASTM Method D-4006 (Water by Distillation).
