Abstract: Canadian Meter has contributed a paper to the CGA Measurement School on the subject of Meter Proof every year since 1987. All the previous papers have dealt with improvements in the Proving Room and Quality Control issues at the Manufacturing Plant and Utility Shop. This paper deals with the retention of accurate proof in service, which of course, is the main object we should all be working for in the interest of Better Measurement and Longer Service Life.
