Abstract: Energy measurement of natural gas is comprised of two components volume measurement and energy determination. Energy content is typically determined by the use of gas chromatographs. These devices can provide accurate compositional data and physical properties of the gas. To assure accurate and reliable operation, it is necessary to properly maintain these instruments.
