Abstract: A worldwide inter-laboratory test to compare calibration results obtained on primary-standard accelerometers of the back-to-back type has been in progress for three years. The paper describes the calibration capabilities of the participating laboratories, explains the mechanics of the round robin, and presents some results of preliminary statistical analyses of the data base.
