Abstract: Orifice meters have been used for centuries to measure liquids as well as gases. Although they are used extensively today by the gas transmission industry for measuring large volumes for custody transfer, they are also used for the measurement of natural gas 1iquids such as ethylene, carbon dioxide, raw mix, demethanized ethane-propane mix, oil, water, air and steam.
