Title: High Pressure Calibration Of Gas Turbine Meters In Carbon Dioxide

Abstract: The pressure sensitivity of turbine meters is a well-observed phenomenon since the inception of these devices. Unfortunately, very little organized experimental data were available for study until recently. Due to the ever-rising energy costs, the natural gas industry is paying much more attention to improve the accuracy of natural gas flow measurement. The latest revision of the AGA No.7 report recommends that a turbine meter should be calibrated close to its intended operating conditions in order to minimize measurement error caused by pressure variation.
