Abstract: The gas meter Is often referred to as the cash register of the industry, and indeed it is. Although we in the meter repair business have always tried for accuracy, the recent increases in the price of gas have made greater accuracy imperative. We try for this greater accuracy in the Measurement Service Center of the company for which I work. This is a new, completely airconditioned facility designed to repair 100,000 meters per year. At the present time we are working about 7A,000 per year with a work force of 34 people.
