Title: Control Valve Selection And Sizing For Liquids & Gas

Abstract: Properly sized control valves are essential to obtain good process control. Simply specifying a valve size to match an existing pipe size leaves much to chance and will likely create an impractical situation in terms of initial investment and adequacy of control. Too small a valve will not pass the required amount of flow, while too large a valve will he unnecessarily expensive and will create instability problems at low flow rates.
