Abstract: Some 308 persons - including an estimated 50 from outside the U.S.A. - gathered in Columbus. Ohio last month (April 4-6) to participate in the Sixth Plastic Pipe Symposium. The theme of the Sixth Plastic Pipe Symposium was appropriately enough entitled, Expanding Horizons for Plastic Distribution Systems. The American Gas Association, Gas Research Institute and Battelle Columbus Laboratories were cosponsors of the Symposium. The Symposium consisted of five half-day sessions - four for the presentation of formal papers and the fifth for workshops.
