Abstract: The displacement gas meter is frequently referred to as a positive displacement meter, not because it is any more definite or accurate than measuring with any other type of meter, but because the measurement it affords is a Positive Volumetric quantity in cubic feet at flowing conditions regardless of or pressure the temperature, gravity of the flowing gas.
