Title: Measurement By Orifice
Author: H. V. Beck
Source: 1970 Southwestern Gas Measurement Short Course (Now called ISHM)
Year Published: 1970
Abstract: With new types of measuring systems being proposed so frequently, one might consider the orifice meter (because of the antiquity of its principle) as being something about to be relegated to the Smithsonian Institute. The fact that it persists and is still relied upon, for the majority of all large volume gas sales, would indicate that its performance is still suitable for commercial measurements.
