Abstract: Venturi meters are popular for single phase and wet gas flow metering applications. Traditionally the Venturi meter with single phase or wet gas flow has little diagnostic capabilities. However, in the last three years a diagnostic system for generic Differential Pressure (DP) meters has been developed. In this paper this diagnostic system is discussed with the focus particularly on Venturi meters in use with dry and wet gas flows.
