Title: The Coriolis Effect
Author: Rick Heuer
Source: 2014 North American Custody Transfer Measurement Conference
Year Published: 2014
Abstract: Coriolis meters benefitted from all the work done on gas ultrasonic meters (USM ) ? When natural gas USMs were starting out, some models did not have frequency outputs . ? The meter was more of an Engineering tool rather than a measurement device . ? After a frequency output was added, it became usable as per AGA - 7 requirements. Diagnostics are now used to examine the flowing gas and metering abnormalities . ? Not just diagnostics, but process applications, built - in totalizers, history, alarms and events
