Title: Conditioning Of Natural Gas For Measurement And Transportation
Author: Khossrow Dave Diba
Source: 1983 International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement
Year Published: 1983
Abstract: FLOWING GAS STREAMS ARE OFTEN MEASURED UNDER ADVERSE CONDITIONS EVEN WHEN THEY DONT YET MEET CONTRACT STANDARDS OF QUALITY. FOR EXAMPLE, OFF SPECIFICATION GAS MUST BE METERED BEFORE IT LEAVES THE PRODUCING LEASE SO THAT ROYALTY PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE TO MINERAL OWNERS. TO MEASURE THIS RAW GAS ACCURATELY, ITS PHYSICAL PROPERTIES MUST BE DETERMINED AND ALL FREE LIQUIDS AND SOLIDS MUST BE REMOVED.
