Abstract: The first step in properly sizing a regulator is to under - stand the design parameters for the application where it is being installed. This requires knowledge of the customers requirements and the limitations of the distribution and transmission system in the area that are feeding it. It is es - pecially important to understand what the flow and pres - sure requirements are of the customer and to make sure that the distribution and transmission system can satisfy those requirements.
