Abstract: One of the most difficult problems facing the instrument engineer is the accurate calibration of pressure or differential pressure measnnng instruments. The deadweight tester or gauge is the economic answer to many of these problems. This paper describes methods to select deadweight testers and gauges. Also induded are procedures for using hydraulic deadweight testers.
