Abstract: Correcting devices, used with positive displacement and turbine meters, correct the gas volume measured at meter conditions of pressure and temperature to the standard volume measured at base conditions of pressure and temperature. Both mechanical and electronic correctors can accomplish this important function with th-e high degree of accuracy required to produce billable volumes at the sale or purchase point of natural gas.
