Abstract: The measurement business unit of an oil and gas exploration and production company is the custodian of production measurement data, from the flow meter to the data end-user, and responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data are maintained. Maintaining the integrity of the production data is as critical to reporting accuracy as the uncertainty of the physical measurement devices, and requires as much attention and protection.
