Abstract: When writing a run ticket a gauger is writing a weigh bill, bill of sale and a check combined in one document. It is written to allow a change of ownership or custody of the content of a tank. A gauger, acting as agent, has the responsibility to see that accurate information is ascertained and recorded. Each true datum can only be obtained by careful observation and correct use of proper tools.
