Abstract: Densitometers have numerous applications in the hydrocarbon industry for flow measurement, interface detection, quality control, and concentration measurement. Densitometers are typically designed to measure either liquids or gases, but not two-pha:ie fluids. The requirements for installation and operation are dependent not only on the design of the densitometer but on the application or purpose of the measurement.
