Abstract: SMA Connectors are the most widely used coaxial connectors in the Microwave Industry. This paper deals with the various interface configurations of SMA Connectors for use up to 40 GHzi and important considerations that apply to making accurate microwave measurements. A new concept is discussed for improving the accuracy of SMA connector measurements utilizing an Automatic Network Analyzer and APC3.5 precision connectors.
