Abstract: All regulators used In the gas industry can he classified as either high or low pressure regulators. In fact, many regulators could he considered both, depending on the definition of high and low pressure. Regulators are required in the production, transmission, measurement and distribution of natural gas. Pressures can range from several thousand ppig at the gas well to under 1 psig at the end user.
