Abstract: The decision to implement an electronic measurement system is a significant one, and one that can provide great benefits. Because of the wide variety of available systems and varying capabilities and features of each, it is necessary to go through a careful evaluation process when choosing or designing a system. The goal of this paper is to convey thoughts, ideas, and suggestions based upon recent experience with the implementation of such a system.
